The Blockchain (Platform) on Which Our Tokens Are Implemented

Currently, the technological foundation for our USDMAU and MAU tokens is the Stellar platform. It has advanced capabilities, is user-friendly, and requires minimal costs (in the form of transfer fees, etc.).

After you first create your account on the Stellar platform, you cannot use it yet because the account needs to be activated. After activation, you must also add our tokens to the list of assets used by your account — in other words, open a trustline for them. In addition, any operations require paying fees in Stellar’s native cryptocurrency — Lumens (XLM). All these costs are minimal, so our bot will send you a few coins for free; just provide it with your account number (public key) — @mau_accounts_bot.

Choosing and Installing a Wallet

To use USDMAU and MAU tokens — receive payments, make payments, exchange, check your balance — you need to install a wallet application. There are several available, and you can choose the one that suits you best.

The most convenient and advanced wallet, available both as a web version and as an app for phones (iPhone and Android).

The wallet requires an email address during registration.

This wallet allows you to exchange various tokens with each other — Swap assets.

After installing Lobstr:

1. Be sure to save your wallet recovery phrase, keep it in a place inaccessible to others! This is the equivalent of your private key to the funds in your account.

2. You can find your public key — which is your wallet address where you will receive tokens — from the main wallet menu by pressing Receive -> Stellar address -> Copy or Share. The wallet address is a string starting with G... Now go to the Telegram bot @mau_accounts_bot. Select the /nov command there and tell the bot your wallet address. You will receive the first few Stellar (XLM) coins to activate your account and can start using your wallet.

3. Go to the token list (Assets). Here you will see the Add Asset button. Press it to add our tokens.

In the search bar, enter MAU — our token MAU (mauaccounts.net) will appear in the list. There may be other tokens with similar names, possibly fakes issued by someone else. Do not add them. Click the Add button next to our token MAU (mauaccounts.net). The wallet will show you a warning; here verify the Issuer address with the first and last characters of the issuer address of our tokens — MAU Accounts DAO — GABL7PXSAV4W4L32PI6E46HLLSMTEUKRDUMAY2Q6JXITNV2QCWABRAOB, and Issuer domain — mauaccounts.net

Click Confirm and Proceed, then Add Asset. The MAU token will be added to your Stellar wallet and its balance will appear in your list of assets. You will be able to use it.

4. Similarly, add the USDMAU tokens.

This wallet does not ask for any unnecessary information and has open source code. It also supports an unlimited number of accounts. However, its functionality is very limited and it may not be as convenient.

After installing Solar:

1. Click “Create account”. A key pair will be created — public and private. Save your private key (for example, by writing it on paper) so you don’t lose access to your money in case of problems accessing the wallet! Never show it to anyone; the private key is literally the key to your funds in your crypto account!

2. Now you have an empty account. By going into it, press Receive to get the public key — which is also the account number (wallet address) to which tokens can be sent.

Tell it to the bot @mau_accounts_bot to receive the first few Stellar (XLM) coins and start using the wallet.

3. After receiving XLM, go to the Assets & Balances menu item — your tokens and their balances will be displayed here. Press Add Asset To Your Account here.

In the search bar, enter MAU issued by mauaccounts.net (fakes issued by someone else may be found, be careful, do not add them). When you click, the description of the MAU token will open. Here you will see ISSUING ACCOUNT — this is the public key of the issuer of our tokens — MAU Accounts DAO — it should be GABL7PXSAV4W4L32PI6E46HLLSMTEUKRDUMAY2Q6JXITNV2QCWABRAOB.

Click ADD ASSET TO ACCOUNT and you will add the MAU tokens to your account and be able to use them.

4. Similarly, add the USDMAU tokens.

Buying and Selling USDMAU and MAU Tokens

You can always sell or buy the amount of tokens you need using Stellar’s internal decentralized exchange — for example, in the Stellar wallet, or Scopuly. And in our bot @mau_accounts_bot, you can exchange USDMAU for other cryptocurrencies and fiat currencies.

You can also freely exchange tokens with real people and businesses. That’s what they were created for.
