We have launched MAU Merchant — a payment processing platform for accepting cryptocurrency and tokenized payments within the MAU Accounts DAO ecosystem.
MAU Merchant was designed as a practical tool for businesses operating in the real economy and seeking to avoid dependence on fragile, centralized payment intermediaries. It is not an experiment or a technology showcase, but a production-ready system built for real-world use.
From a user’s perspective, MAU Merchant addresses a straightforward need: to accept payments across multiple blockchains and assets while receiving a predictable outcome — without having to manage complex crypto infrastructure.
The platform supports a multi-blockchain model and an account-based architecture. This allows merchants to accept payments from different networks through a single control panel, without manually managing separate wallets or dealing with fragmented accounting. Wallet creation and configuration are handled automatically within the supported blockchains.
Security was a primary design concern from the very beginning. It is embedded directly into the architecture through risk reduction, decreased reliance on trust in individual components, and minimization of sensitive data and secrets that need to be stored or processed. This is a foundational design choice, not an optional feature.
MAU Merchant supports modern blockchains with diverse economic and technological characteristics — including networks with fast and low-cost transactions, assets of the horizontal economy, and privacy-focused coins where confidentiality is a core protocol property. This approach allows businesses to choose tools that are appropriate, rather than merely fashionable.
The platform includes:
MAU Merchant is part of the broader MAU Accounts DAO architecture and integrates naturally with other services in the ecosystem. At the same time, it is not limited to internal projects and can be used by external merchants and services that share our approach to autonomy, transparency, and technological responsibility.
We are developing MAU Merchant deliberately and without haste, focusing on stability, predictability, and real business value. Scaling and feature expansion will follow practical use — not precede it.
